Strabismus (squint)

Strabismus surgery is predestined for an outpatient approach since neither children nor their parents like to spend time in a hospital unnecessarily – and as a rule it is really not needed for these procedures. Until last year, however, a three-day in-patient stay was routine in this part of the world.
Since we recently concluded a new contract with some public health insurances on strabismus surgery we have expanded our infrastructure in this field and this option is now available for everyone in our "Schiel-Zentrum". Personal care and a very child-friendly approach are guaranteed.

Dr. El-Bably in previous years used to direct the strabismus department of the Klinikum Bremen Mitte  and is known in Bremen and beyond Bremen's borders as an excellent stabismus expert and surgeon.
